Dr. (Prof.) Kanika Jain is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant Gynaecological Endoscopic and Robotic Surgeon at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. With vast expertise in Gynae Endoscopy, Minimally Access Surgery (MAS), Robotic Gynaecological Surgery, and Gynae Oncology, she is widely recognised for delivering advanced, patient-centric care using the latest surgical technologies.
She holds prestigious qualifications, including MBBS, DGO, DNB, FICMCH, and FICOG, along with Fellowships in Endoscopic Surgery and Fellowship in Gynaecological Robotic Surgery (2018). Dr. Jain has undergone Certified Robotic Hands-on Training at Galaxy Institute, Pune, and advanced training as a Gynae Robotic Surgeon at EEC, Paris, France, placing her among the leading experts in robotic and minimally invasive gynaecological procedures in India.
Dr. Jain is an integral part of the Gynae MAS Unit at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where she performs complex endoscopic and robotic surgeries with precision, ensuring faster recovery, minimal pain, and improved outcomes for women. Her clinical interests include Gynae Endoscopy, Gynae Oncology, and advanced minimally invasive procedures for various gynaecological conditions.

She is also the Editor and Author of the book “Endoscopy in Gynaecology: A Guide for Beginners”, contributing significantly to the education and training of upcoming gynaecologists in endoscopic techniques.
She has served as a guide and co-guide to many postgraduate students and teaches regular classes for postgraduate students in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has been organising Operative Workshops, Webinars, Conferences and CMEs as part of her Academic Teaching Programmes. She’s the NORTH Zone Co-Ordinator for FOGSI-EAGLE (Every Aspiring Gynaecologist to Learn Endoscopy) Projects. She has been Operating Faculty at various medical colleges across India to teach Gynae Endoscopy to budding Gynaecologists.
Dr. Jain holds life memberships in several esteemed medical bodies, including AOGD, FOGSI, NARCHI, IFS, IMS, ISOPARB, and the National Neonatology Forum of India, reflecting her active participation in advancing women’s healthcare standards in India.
